How to recap more than a year of reflection in only a few words that will set the tone for this blog?! A tone that I want to be vibrant and authentic with words that will come straight from my heart in order to inspire you to fulfill your greatest dreams. This is what Ray of Nath will be all about.
But before I begin, make a wish and make sure to put your strongest intention into it…
The universe will take care of it, as it did for me!
A preambule
In 2014, I decided that my dream to go live abroad would become a concrete project with a departure date somewhere between June and September 2015.
THE click, a sort of a wake-up call, hit me real hard in the summer of 2014. I was living in a beach town in Mexico for a month. I didn’t feel like a tourist on holiday. I felt like I was home, in my rhythm. My apartment, my habits, my neighbourhood, some friends… This life, though far from mine geographically, was so close to what I was ready for.
The horizon of a year seemed far away at the time. I was afraid that after a while, things would go well enough in my daily routine to be tempted to postpone the project once again. What if a new lover walks into my life? Would I be strong enough to welcome him without reconsidering my departure? How serious was I this time to move abroad?
I realized that when you strongly want something that is meant for you, nothing can stop you and the whole universe is there to help you in that direction.

Among the readings that strongly inspired me, I have to mention the book Vagabonding by Rolf Potts, a classic on the art of long-term world travel.

Those words do not apply solely for those wishing to travel the world. They are for all of us waiting for a sign, waiting for the perfect timing to realize that precious project we’ve all been dreaming about.
With my head full of these considerations, I decided to take the time to question myself. How do I want my life to be now? As we say, life is too short to let it pass you by. Think big!
I found that “click” in Mexico, now, I needed to find myself somewhere yet unknown, peaceful and mystic. I chose the town of Ubud in Bali, one of the 17,000 islands of the Republic of Indonesia, where I will embrace this new chapter of my life. Where my dream of living abroad will come true.
I want to immerse myself in this town made immensely famous by Elizabeth Gilbert (and Julia Roberts) with her novel Eat, Pray, Love that deeply touched me (like many of you I am convinced). I intend to make my Eat, Pray, Love the Ray of Nath way!
By the time you read these lines, I will be up in the air, flying my way to my new home for the next two months. Can’t wait to get back to you with my first impressions and pictures!
